    American Military Families Action Network (USAVET.org) is a 501(c)3  non-profit research organization founded in 2012.  The organization is committed to improving the readiness of the American Military and Veteran Families. 

         

     

    The American Military Families - Action Network (USAVET.org) is committed to:


    • Offering housing resources as a priority, along with readiness provisions and service opportunities for homeless veterans.


    • Engaging in medical research initiatives and outreach programs aimed at enhancing the well-being and preparedness of American veterans, active-duty personnel, and their families.


    • Collaborating on solutions developed through community outreach efforts.


    • Delivering resources promptly and effectively to communities in need.


    • Facilitating access for active-duty members, veterans, and their families to clinical trial networks and innovative medical treatments.

    The 2.1-acre parcel, situated on a significant transportation route and within a county-designated opportunity development zone.


    At 12605 Pacific Ave S, the property is zoned as Town Center, presenting a unique opportunity for development. 


    It will accommodate a new construction featuring 100 rental apartments within a three to five-story building, serviced by elevators and designed for handicap accessibility. The units will consist of one and two-bedroom layouts.

    100 SERVICE DOGS FOR 100 VETERANS PROGRAM


    The "100 Service Dogs for 100 Veterans" initiative is an innovative program developed by veterans to address the nation's veteran suicide rate directly.


    We will open up for the next set of 20 Veterans Service Dog Training spots available in our 100 Service Dogs for 100 Veterans Program.

     The objective of this program is to support homeless veterans or those at risk of homelessness in securing safe and stable housing.  Subsequently, our focus shifts towards facilitating the veteran's transition into well-paying careers, eliminating food insecurity, and ensuring enrollment in the VA system for access to healthcare and earned benefits stemming from their service to our nation.

     Engagement with STEM: At its core, SeaPerch serves as a catalyst for igniting curiosity and   nurturing critical thinking skills among students. By immersing   themselves in the construction and operation of underwater robots,   participants not only gain practical knowledge but also develop a  deeper  appreciation for the STEM disciplines. Through guided activities  and  challenges, students are encouraged to apply scientific concepts,   problem-solving strategies, and engineering principles in real-world   contexts.

     The VETERAN MADE program is dedicated to supporting emerging businesses  in various communities and markets, including those owned by 8(a) and  minority groups, veterans, military spouses, and members of military  families. The focus of the program is to help these businesses venture  into new and developing markets, with a special emphasis on the Social  Good Marketplace.
